Julie 101: Blogging, cooking, servicing, healthifying, growing, financializing, organizing, designing, exploring, primping and playing!
Hello friends! September has come and gone in a flurry of activity and excitement, and I find myself once again behind in my blog posts and missing this wonderful online community. But I have been busy with good things!
I started the Betty Rocker 30 Day “Rocktober” Challenge – so far, it’s going great! I allowed myself a couple of cheats this week for my birthday but after eating clean for the past week and a half or so, my body definitely feels a difference when I treat myself!
I just signed up for StitchFix – something I learned about (and got a coupon code for) in the October PopSugar “Must Have” Box – something I”ll be blogging about and reviewing this weekend probably, since it’s supposed to pour buckets all weekend. It’s such a great idea – essentially, you sign up, fill out a pretty detailed style profile, and select a date for your delivery. A stylist reviews your profile and picks out five pieces of clothing, jewelry or accessories – most priced around $65, they say, although if you request it they will try to stick to a lower budget. These selections are customized for you, and once you get them you can try the options on, return anything you don’t like, and pay for what you want to keep. I’m excited to get my “fix” in about a month – I asked that they send me a possible dress to wear to a wedding I have closer to Thanksgiving! If you want to try StitchFix, use my referral link please!
Most exciting of all, I opened my Etsy shop – Bundle and Batch! I started off with a lot of holiday items since they’re quickly creeping up on us – but I’m adding more items all the time! I’d love it if you would check out my shop.
