Tonight I found this article on Philly.com : Follow this 11-step program to keep the Thanksgiving banquet off your butt.

The list in short:

1 Start strong. (They’re saying go to the gym, which is the plan!)

2 Dress up. (If you wear something fitted, you’ll feel full sooner)

3 Fuel up early. (Don’t skip breakfast or lunch, otherwise you’ll binge later!)

4 Think small. (Keep your portions small)

5 Pad with produce. (Fruits and veggies will fill you up faster!)

6 Save up for the good stuff. (Save your calories for specialties like pumpkin pie)

7 Take it slow. (Don’t wolf down your food, since your body won’t register fullness for 20 minutes)

8 Beware of beverages. (Well that’s just not gonna happen)

9 But do stay hydrated. (Standard for me!)

10 Get physical. “After your meal, go for a brisk 30-minute walk. The cool air and physical activity will refresh you.” (Too cold, can’t move, F that)

11 Focus on family. (Duh!)
